Yasmin Baylor, KPA-CTP, CPDT-KA, CSAT, is a certified professional dog trainer with a deep commitment to helping people and their dogs thrive together. She is a graduate of the internationally esteemed Karen Pryor Academy, a Certified Professional Dog Trainer through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT), and a Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer (CSAT) under Malena DeMartini’s renowned program.

Yasmin currently serves as a board member at large and training consultant for Paws Humane Society, where she supports both adopters and shelter dogs through individualized behavior plans. Her training style is calm, grounded, and encouraging—a reflection of her belief that long-lasting behavior change is rooted in understanding, trust, and clear communication.

Dedicated to lifelong learning, Yasmin regularly enrolls in continuing education courses and keeps up with the latest in behavior science through books, research, and podcasts. She finds great joy in helping dogs and their families build stronger, more harmonious relationships.

At home in Rockford, Illinois, Yasmin shares her life with her spirited young daughter Claire, her sweet and silly Stabyhoun, Fenna, her beloved senior cat Pangea, and her endlessly supportive husband, Josh.

Adrienne Kelenc

Certified Professional Dog Trainer

Adrienne Kelenc, KPA-CTP, ABCDT, CNWI, has been passionate about dogs since childhood, when she built homemade obstacle courses and competed in 4-H with her first pup. After serving in the U.S. Army and earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northern Illinois University, she adopted her first rescue dog, Cloey—and her lifelong love of dogs turned into a professional pursuit.

Adrienne became a certified dog trainer through Animal Behavior College and completed an apprenticeship at Tails Humane Society. Over time, she welcomed three more rescue dogs—Chica, Carley, and Casey—whose unique personalities and challenges deepened her desire to understand canine behavior.

When Casey displayed serious reactivity, Adrienne saw firsthand the limitations of punishment-based methods. After working with a positive reinforcement trainer and seeing real progress, she committed to learning the science behind compassionate, effective training. In 2020, she completed the Karen Pryor Academy professional dog training program and became a certified trick dog instructor with Do More With Your Dog.

Adrienne’s four rescue dogs inspired her journey. She is dedicated to helping dogs and their families thrive through relationship-based, fear-free training that’s rooted in science and empathy.

Maddy Schone-Knoll

Family Dog Mediator

Maddy is a certified Family Dog Mediator (FDM) with a lifelong love of dogs. From a young age, she was drawn to observing, learning from, and caring for dogs whenever the opportunity arose.

Although her path initially led her away from the dog world, Maddy earned a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Business Administration. She spent several years working in the security sector before transitioning to a role as a public school substitute teacher, where she briefly considered a career in education.

Maddy’s passion for dogs was reignited when she welcomed Chester, her Australian Shepherd puppy, into her life. Around the same time, while caring for Fenna—Yasmin’s dog—she was encouraged to consider a career in dog training. That encouragement, combined with her natural affinity for animals, brought her back to where she belongs: working with dogs.

She is now actively pursuing her professional training journey and finds great joy in helping dogs and their humans thrive together. One of her favorite pastimes is spending time in nature with her four-legged companions.
